Our Family's Story
The Cellar is built on generations of family, hard work, and a love for the land we call home. The property on which The Cellar is located has been part of our family for generations. Originally rural farmland, the land was transformed in 2006 into Grapefull Sisters Vineyard, a working muscadine vineyard and tasting room. Over the years, it has become a place where family, friends, and visitors gather to unwind, celebrate, and create lasting memories.
As our vineyard continued to grow, we expanded our vision for the property. CarrollWoods RV Park was built a few years later, providing a peaceful place for travelers to stay and escape the hustle and bustle.
As celebrations continued to grow, we created The Cellar in 2018 as a dedicated event space for weddings and gatherings. Designed to accommodate larger celebrations, The Cellar offers the comforts and conveniences needed to make each event special, including a climate-controlled indoor space, catering preparation areas, and more. This space allowed us to continue sharing this special place with more guests while preserving the welcoming atmosphere that has always been at the heart of our family.
Today, three generations of our family continue to work together to care for this land and welcome guests to a place that means so much to us. We are honored to share our family’s story with you and hope you feel the same connection to this special place that our family has cherished for generations and continues to build upon today.
